UR406 - Abeilles et Environnement

Our project aims to advance knowledge and develop innovative solutions for the protection of honey bees and the conservation of wild bees in a context of agro-ecological transition.

It is structured around three lines of research:

  • Bees and pest and disease risks: Assessing the risks associated with pathogens, parasites and predators, and testing control methods in beekeeping.
  • Bees and toxicological risks: Improving the detection and assessment of toxicological risks from the individual to the colony.
  • Bees and habitats: Designing and testing agro-ecological practices and integrated pollination strategies to reconcile beekeeping, agriculture and conservation of wild pollinators.
