Sensibility analysis of the Always silvopastoral simulation model across contrasting pedoclimatic conditions

The sensitivity analysis process available in Always model has been applied for testing the more discriminant parameters to assess the functioning of contrasted silvopastoral systems based on wide-spaced tree plantations on swards. Very contrasted climatic situations are compared from ligth-lacking cold template conditions (Scotland) to hot and dry Mediterranean environments (Languedoc) or cold and wet continental climate (Auvergne). The dominant limiting factors are compared and the ability of the model to describe correctly the modifications of biophysical conditions are discussed.
