Les bases de données : outils de stockage et d'exploitation des échantillonnages piscicoles

Abstract : The study of the species-environment relations on different space and time scales requires to handle large volumes of data and to compare various pieces of information (biological and environmental). In order to optimize the computer management of ecological data, several data bases (corresponding to data of various structures) have been designed on micro-computers by using various data bases management systems around which various specific applications have been developed. The goal of the latter is to ease up and complete the information management, from the data collection to the tables to be analyzed.
