              <p>A floating chamber method was designed to measure the amounts of nitrous oxide gas (N2O) emitted during aerobic treatment of pig slurry. Measurement of nitrous oxide emissions from farm scale treatment units was completed by a monitoring of the dissolved nitrous oxide in slurry. The amounts of N2O emitted from four farm treatment units of pig slurry varied between 0 and 305 gN/d. These results demonstrate that nitrous oxide emissions are low as regards as ammoniacal nitrogen treated (</p>

              <p>Une méthode de mesure basée sur une " cloche flottante " a été mise au point afin de mesurer les émissions de protoxyde d'azote (N2O) sur les unités de traitement aérobie du lisier de porc à la ferme. Ces mesures ont été complétées par un suivi du protoxyde d'azote dissous dans l'effluent. Les quantités de N2O émises sur 4 stations de traitement du lisier de porcs à la ferme sont comprises entre 0 et 305 gN/j.
