Coupled numerical simulation and sensitivity assessment under slow transient conditions

Simulation numérique des équations transitoires lentes et des équations de sensibilité

Résumé

Sensitivity analysis is an important topic which can help to investigate the stability of a process perturbed by parameter changes and uncertainty impacts. In this work the unsteady sensitivity equations for looped pipe networks are solved. We present a time splitting method able to solve in same time the unsteady water quality equations and the parameters sensitivity associated. Inertial effect due to hydraulic devices operations are considered. A slow transient model based on loop method is set up and like for water quality, hydraulic parameters sensitivity are identified.
