The main topic of this study is the relation between a granular soil and its intern liquid flow in the specific context of slope stability threshold. This threshold can be predicted in the frame of continuum mechanics and it is partly confirmed by the experimental results. The interface curve shape between the soil and the water after slope instability is also studied as a function of the hydraulic gradient.

Le couplage entre l'évolution structurale d'un sol granulaire et l'écoulement liquide qui le traverse est étudié ici dans le cadre des instabilités gravitaires d'un sol drainé pour lequel l'écoulement hydraulique interne modifie le seuil de stabilité de pente. Ce seuil peut être prédit par un calcul de mécanique des milieux continus que les résultats expérimentaux viennent en partie confirmer. La forme de l'interface sol eau après déstabilisation est aussi étudiée en fonction du gradient hydraulique.
