Les effets des cervidés et du sanglier sur la biodiversité : des recommandations de gestion des populations

Abstract : The increase of large herbivores' populations and their maintenance at very high levels, more than their presence, are major causes of disturbance to the forest ecosystems. To limit and control their impact on the ecosystem is a real stake not only concerning the forest regeneration process, the well-being of both wildlife and domesticated populations and the human health but also the preservation and management of biodiversity. We can only achieve our objectives if we regularly monitor both ungulates' populations and their influence on vegetation.
