Extraction d'un modèle numérique de terrain à partir de photographies par drone

Abstract : Rills and gullies physical characterization is a key point in the study of erosion processes on badlands zones with a much tormented geomorphology, and is fundamental for an accurate representation of connectivity between slope's sediments mobilization zones and the stabilized hydrographical network. Traditional aerial photographs ground resolution does not make it possible to reach the elementary gullies. We test the use of a few centimetres resolution stereo pair photos obtained by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV, drones) at low altitude to compute precise DEM on a badlands zone. A particular focus concerns the ways to find out a better compromise between data accessibility and accuracy and the evaluation of the relative importance of each stage on final accuracy.
