Etude expérimentale d'un jet plan turbulent isotherme en co-courant

Abstract : Air curtains are planar jets used to limit transfers between two ambiences without physical barrier. A wind tunnel was designed to study the downward planar jet issuing in an unifom co-flow. The flow is measured by hot-wire anemometry for different Reynolds numbers and shear parameters. The influence of these control parameters on the flow statistics and on the similarity behaviour are discussed.
