Using Pattern Trees to define diatom ecological preferenda: Case study of French rivers

Utilisation des Pattern Trees pour définir des traites écologiques des diatomées des cours d'eau français

Résumé

The purpose of this work is to define local ecological preferenda of diatoms species from French freshwater rivers using the method of Pattern Tree. In this intention, we created an R package to build Pattern Trees, due to the lack of function with an efficient manoeuvrability to our needs. Results are based on a dataset from 1994 to 2010.
