Résumé

Since the European sturgeon (Acipenser sturio) is one of the most highly endangered fish species worldwide with only one population left in the Gironde River, France, in situ and ex situ protection of the species takes place through coordinated efforts under the Bern Convention Action Plan (AP) in France and Germany.
