La fin des quotas laitiers, un enjeu territorial

Abstract : The abolishment of the milk quota regime in April 2015 is a new step in the long process of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). In France, where the application of the milk quota system was more influenced with political will than in other Member States traditionally more liberal, this change raises many questions. Based on the French case, this article proposes an analysis on the main implications of the quota policy. Particular attention is paid to issues related to land concerns such as territorial distribution of supply and the capitalization of rights in land values.
