Les réseaux professionnels : facteur clé pour l'innovation dans le secteur vitivinicole ?
Résumé
The paper gives an overview on the role of professional networks that are driving innovation processes in the wine sector. The analytical framework of such networks is first presented, then the results of recent studies are pointed out, according to four fields of innovation : changes of practices in vineyards, construction of new wine markets, innovations in wine cooperatives, relations between wine producers and researchers. The results show that specific forms of networks can encourage innovation, by combinating local interactions between peers, with long distance strategic ties. The results call for further analysis of networks in the wine sector, and for the use of these networks as a tool for innovation.
