Comment favoriser par des voies nutritionnelles l'adaptation physiologique et microbiologique des porcelets au sevrage ?

Abstract : Weaning is a critical period of pig production and is associated with a high occurrence of digestive disorders leading to diarrhoea and low growth. In January 2006, the european directive forbade the use of in-feed antibiotics and since then, research on nutritional solutions aiming to ameliorate digestive functions of animals has gained in interest. This article reviews and illustrates the effects of some alternative solutions on voluntary feed intake, efficiency of digestion, intestinal physiology and microflora, and finally, on the body defences of piglets.
