Cartographie du fonctionnement hydrique des sols d’une parcelle agricole hétérogène à partir d’informations pédologiques et environnementales

Abstract : The spatial and temporal variability of soil water content on a 10 ha field has been evaluated from 9 campaigns of gravimetric soil water content measurements. A soil water content map at each date has been estimated by ordinary kriging, as well as a map of the temporal mean. Wetter and drying zones were identified on each map, and confirmed by the map of the spatial and temporal variability calculated from the Vachaud et al. (1985) index. A Factorial Kriging analysis demonstrated that this variability strongly depended on: i) the soil texture estimated from electrical resistivity measurements, and ii) the slope, altitude and fluxes directions derived from the Digital Elevation Model. This work then proposes new ways to improve irrigation at field scale.
