Bioactivities of Marine Polysaccharides on the Gut immune systeme - Update

Bioactivité des Polysaccharides marins en santé animale

Mustapha M. Berri

Résumé

We do not look at people as humans but more generally as one element of an ecosystem within an infinity of ecosystems that influence each another. Why create artificial molecules, which are a source of imbalance for these ecosystems, when everything we need already exists? By replacing additives, pesticides and antibiotics used in the food processing industry by a natural element, algae, along the entire food chain, the benefits for our nutrition and health would be considerable. We are a mere element of an ecosystem that surrounds and inhabits us at the same time.
