Résumé

The monograph is organized as follows : after introduction (section 1,) we review the Rausser-Simon multilateral bargaining model (referred to as the MB model), which provides the theoretical basis for this application in section 2 . Section 3 relates the MB model to the literature on multilateral negotiations. Section 4 introduces the Adour Basin, explains the nature of the negotiations and describes our simulation model of the bargaining problem. Section 5 contains our comparative statics analysis. Section 6 concludes.
