Beef production in the areas of European community and the part of directs payments in the specialized producers' incomes

This article presents the location of the beef production in the EU according to a typology based on the Farm Accounting Data Network (FADN) 1993. Specialised systems (OTEX 42) can be characterised with technical and economical data of FADN. Those cattle farms are dependant on direct payments and the successive reforms affect them particularly.
Cet article présente la répartition de la production communautaire de viande bovine selon une typologie établie sur la base du Réseau d'Information Comptable Agricole de 1993 (RICA). Les variables techniques et économiques permettent de caractériser les systèmes spécialisés en production de viande bovine (OTEX 42). Ces élevages qui sont les plus sensibles aux réformes de l'OCM "viande bovine" sont particulièrement dépendants des paiements directs.
