Abstract

Minerals in camel milk are presented among elements contributing to its reputation for health benefit to consumers • Both major and trace minerals are not in exceptional quantity compared to other species except cations (K, Na, Cl) and probably iron and zinc. There is a lack of data regarding the effect of diet composition on mineral concentration of camel milk.
