The European Partnership on Sustainable Food Systems in International Context

Résumé

International Partnerships will play a crucial role in the transition towards sustainable food systems. One of them is the European Partnership on Sustainable Food Systems. The HorizonEurope project FOODPathS is establishing its prototype. Thanks to the public, private, philanthropic, and academic networks in its consortium it allows recognizing and understanding potential trade-offs and co-benefits of food system approaches. Next, it supports multi-scale orchestration of food system approaches globally and locally thanks to case studies, mirror groups and exchanging on best and worst practices. Finally, a European Partnership on SFS is not inclusive if the rest of the world (players) is absent. Hence the international context of Partnerships is crucial.
