L’implantation chez les mammifères : mise en évidence des propriétés dynamiques de l’endomètre en interaction avec le conceptus

Abstract : In ruminants and human species, pregnancy failures are mainly represented by embryonic losses occurring during the peri-implantation period. In this context, my research programme has focused on (i) how peri-implantation events contribute to the set up, the progression and the issue of pregnancy as well as to post-natal phenotype (ii) a better management of repro-ductive efficiency, mainly in livestock ruminants. This project aims to (i) identify molecular and cellular mechanisms that govern conceptus implantation in normal and perturbed situations (ii) determine the ability of the maternal organism to adapt various environ-mental constraints–nutrition, infections and stress- (iii) characterize local and systemic reac-tions of the maternal organism to the origin of the conceptus (iv) identify biomarkers for diagnosing early pregnancy and for predicting its issue, relatively to the female reproductive capacity.
