qui consiste à étudier d'où vient le parent, à la génération précédente, d'un individu du front de colonisation à la génération actuelle, a permis de penser la dynamique de colonisation en terme de nombre de contributeurs à l'avancée du front de colonisation. Dans les modèles de colonisation individu-centrés, nous avons proposé un estimateur du nombre de contributeurs à la création du prochain front de colonisation, qui est la variance de la distance entre l'individu le plus en avant à la génération t (i.e. le FFI) et son parent à la génération t -1. Plus cette variance sera élevée, plus le parent du FFI à la génération précédente pourra venir de n'importe où dans la population, et plus le nombre de contributeurs à l'avancée du front de colonisation sera élevé. Au contraire, une faible variance de la distance entre le FFI et son parent à la génération précédente indiquera que les parents des FFI sont toujours issus d'une même partie, restreinte, de la population, et 187 version ne contenant pas les modifications demandées par le jury complètement la dynamique de colonisation, une de ces dynamiques de colonisation, et encore moins un cadre commun pour la compréhension des deux types de dynamiques de colonisation.
