Rhoné, Ces expérimentations peuvent donc être assimilées à des expérimentations de types "common-garden" qui sont fréquemment utilisées chez de nombreuses espèces végétales pour tester l'adaptation locale. Une discussion critique concernant ce type d'étude est faite dans le chapitre 3 Adaptation Locale : un unique environnement ne permet pas en général de tester efficacement la présence d'adaptation locale. Dans cette étude, nous avons réalisé pour la première fois sur les populations de GD de blé une expérimentation de transplantation entre populations issues de 3 sites : Le Moulon, Rennes et Toulouse. Cette approche nous a permis d'obtenir trois résultats principaux. Premièrement, nous avons pu confirmer l'importance de la sélection divergente sur certains caractères liés à la valeur sélective (précocité de floraison, hauteur de plante, nombre de grains par épis et poids de 1000 grains) par la méthode des contrastes Q ST -F ST . Nous avons montré dans le même temps que l'évaluation de la différenciation au niveau des caractères quantitatifs était très cohérente entre les 3 sites expérimentaux. Deuxièmement, nous avons montré, par les transplantations réciproques, que deux caractères (hauteur de plante et poids de 1000 grains) étaient effectivement adaptés localement. Enfin, en étudiant conjointe, réelles d'évolution des espèces dans leurs milieux. Le dispositif de Gestion Dynamique de blé permet d'associer les deux approches : d'une part, les populations expérimentales de blé évoluent dans les environnements "habituels" pour l'espèce (agrosystèmes) et sont donc soumises aux pressions de sélection rencontrées généralement dans ces environnements et d'autre part, la GD est une expérimentation d'évolution expérimentale, les populations sont suivies au fil des générations et l'état ancestral/initial est connu, vol.92, pp.1-11, 2008.
