Pratiques négociées et écologisation de l agriculture

Abstract : This article shows how through a process of ecologization of agriculture the implementation of new practices may result from negotiation between actors. Focusing on the social dimension of the environment friendly practices, it provides elements to understanding what this dimension can mean for the development of agroecology. It starts by clarifying what is the activity of negotiation, the stakes of this activity to design new local agricultural practices, and the resources farmers need to conduct it. Then it pays attention to social spaces in which negotiations occur. It identifies how negotiation is related with others kinds of social interactions such as imposition, conflict, and cooperation.
