Ad Hoc network for agriculture: irrigation management

Abstract : Now the new communication technologies allow to deploy wireless networks with the same bandwidth that the wire networks. Networks without infrastructure, known as ad hoc network, can be conceived to connect the various farm equipments and new applications can be developed. We present here the implementation of a such wireless network, being based on the OLSR routing protocol to ensure the management of a whole of several irrigation pivots.
