Évaluation des risques de contamination des masses d’eau de surface par les produits phytosanitaires en France : la méthode ARPEGES

Abstract : The ARPEGES method was developed to assess the risk of contamination of each surface water body by pesticides in metropolitan France. It was applied to feed into the water status assessment requested by the WFD in 2013. It is based on a Bayesian network representing the complex relationships between parameters describing the environment (soils, climate and buffers) and its vulnerability to different components of water-transfer, and pesticide uses (characterized by pesticides properties and applied quantities).
