Concentration géographique et intensification de la production laitière en France

Abstract : This article explores the margins of geographic concentration and the intensification of milk production in France. Its originality is to mobilize two distinct models (a model of economic geography and a bioeconomic model) to analyze the major issue of the location and the intensification of milk production. Our results show that agglomeration effects exist in the dairy sector and there are indeed some technical margins at the farm level.
