L'insertion territoriale des cultures biomasses pérennes. Le cas du miscanthus par dix agriculteurs de Côte-d'Or

Abstract : The allocation of the new biomass crop miscanthus deals with land use changes. Thus nowdays, spatial allocation models are useful to help landowners to prevent landscape changes and the food/no-food competition over there. Considering the lack of information about farmers' choices, it is necessary to perform a deep understanding of miscanthus adoption and allocation factors, before building any model. This paper exposes the results of a French case study, where we interviewed ten farmers, showing the complexity of farmers' decision-making processes and the variety of miscanthus allocation practices.
