Suppression des quotas laitiers et implications productives pour les éleveurs du Grand-Ouest

Abstract : The proposals made by the European Commission's for the Health Check of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) suggest the abolition of dairy quotas by 2015, a removal of set aside, the implementation of a full decoupling and a progressive uniformisation of the amount of payment per hectare. In this context, an analysis of productive and economic implications of these proposals is achieved by constructing a bio-economic mathematical model. This model seeks to anticipate, under different constraints (biological, structural, economic and regulatory), the productive choices of four types of dairy farms frequently encountered in the West of France: milk + young bull, milk + cereal, semi-intensive and grazier farm.
