Crenitis punctatostriata (Coleoptera Hydrophilidae) dans le Jura et intérêt pour la caractérisation des tourbières d'altitude

Abstract : Crenitis punctatostriata (Letzner, 1840), from high peat bogs in Central Europe, is well known in the Swiss Jura. This species shows a particular life-cycle (larvas and pupae in mosses, adults in shallow pools) and stands for a biotic indicator for the stage of acid peat bogs. As its distribution in the French Jura is still bad known, this beetle will be usefully searched for, in order to support the management of these peculiar ecosystems as other invertebrates such as Butterflies or dragonflies.
