Les cortèges ichtyologiques de l'estuaire de la Gironde. Réflexion sur l'établissement d'une situation de référence en vue d'identifier les perturbations

Abstract : Estuarine environment is complex and fluctuates. It plays a vital role in the functioning of marine aquatic systems and in the progress of biological cycles of numerous fish species. Estuaries are subjected to anthropic pressures more or less localized which influence distribution and dynamics of biological assemblages. Consequences of these activities are difficult to assess due to the complexity of these environments and of the scarcity or even the lack of evaluation and monitoring systems. In this situation, the Gironde estuary appears to be a particularly relevant case study. In order to detect anomalies in the functioning of the system and to identify effects of perturbations upon populations, it seems to be necessary to draw a reference state. Different approaches are possible. This work aims to describe an approach based on K-Tab analyses. This processing allows us to define an average situation called "compromise". This situation will then be compared to those of other years. At the first level of analysis, we can notice there is a pronounced downstream-upstream structuration. Seasonal variations are undeniably an important factor in structuring trophic networks.
