La lumière en forêt, une histoire de partage

Abstract : In forest many processes are affected by light availability such as tree regeneration, flora composition and density, and microclimate. Light is successively intercepted or transmitted by the different strata of the forest ecosystem, i.e. the overstorey of adult trees, the mid-storey trees, the shrubs, and the herbaceous species. This sharing of light by the different forest components is studied and modelled in order to better design sylvicultural operations.
