Un système de perception cognitif pour les véhicules autonomes

Abstract : This article puts forward a new concept for automatic guidance of autonomous vehicle. Its name is SLAG for " Simultaneous Localization and Automatic Guidance " and its goal is to provide a reliable and accurate guidance process. SLAG is based on a cognitive process which chooses in real time the best action allowing the robot insuring a safe behaviour during the trajectory tracking. SLAG has shown its efficiency during numerous experiments carried out with an electrical off road vehicle which speed was faster than 4 m/s.
