Le Col du Lac Blanc : un site expérimental dans le vent
Résumé
For 25 years IRSTEA (previously Cemagref) and Météo France (Centre for the Study of Snow) have joined together in studying drifting snow at Lac Blanc Pass (Oz-en-Oisans near Alpe d’Huez ski resort) 2700 m. This experimental site allowed to develop new knowledge and to improve numerical models. Foreign research teams are welcomed. Lac Blanc Pass is also a climatological reference for 25 years at 2700 m.
