Le rami fourrager : un support pour la conception de scénarios de systèmes fourragers avec des éleveurs et des conseillers

Abstract : The increasing uncertainty weighing on livestock farming requires that livestock farmers try and find new solutions that are better adapted and suited to a changing context. This board game, called Forage Rummy, helps agricultural consultants and farmers deal with these issues by encouraging exchange and discussion. This card game is based on tokens used to translate expert scientific knowledge into easily accessible information: for example, the ‘forage’ tokens represent the quantity of forage used over a period of a year, for a combined variety of forage crops and management practices. Players select the tokens and try and combine them in order to successfully achieve their objectives. An example of the way this board game can be used to educate farmers, is using it to develop forage system scenarios that are adapted to climate change.
