Protease inhibitors from Pea seeds : biochemicals characteristics

Résumé

Purification of trypsin inhibitors from winter pea seeds (c.v. Frilene) shawed that the six inhibitors were closely related to one another and belonged to the Bowman-Birk family. The sequence and the biosynthetic mechanism of the isoform formation were partially resolved for four major isoforms.
