Etude d'ouvrages de correction torrentielle soumis à des poussées de berges - rapport 2ème phase

Abstract : Materials transported by flood torrents by overthrusting under the form of debris flows often come from sliding banks which can eventually fill in the river bed. To limit the volumes of material likely to travel downstream, the construction of dams in these zones of unstable banks presents a strategic interest in a system of torrential correction. The efforts exerted by these slidings on works are poorly known and often lead to damaging them. The goal of this study is to identify and then evaluate these actions in order to improve design techniques. The first part reviews the stability computation method in geotechnics and defines the adaptations required by the problem specificity. The bi-dimensional methods in the framework of a calculation to the soil limit are proposed and then automated under the form of a calculation software prototype. The bases of an extension to the tri-dimensional aspect are exposed on the bases of the bi-dimensional approach. Finally, the last part was dedicated to the modelling by finite elements, introduced by the presentation of an advanced analytical resolution diagram. The use of such resolution methods enabled to define a methodology of study of the problem and to obtain a first series of results relative to the kinematics of the phenomenon at the rear of the works.
