Résumé
A new approach is proposed to design geotextiles + geomembrane lining systems in order to prevent localized mechanical damage, including puncture. The approach is based on the analysis of the elementary sollicitations and damage mechanisms of the geosynthetics. Some existing tests are presented with respect to the elemental sollicitations they represent, and are classified as either characterisation tests or empirical tests. An example of lining system design is given, according to correlation between characterisation and empirical tests
On propose une nouvelle approche du dimensionnement des dispositifs d'étanchéité géotextiles + géomembrane en prévention de l'endommagement localisé, y compris le poinçonnement. Cette approche se fonde sur l'analyse des sollicitations élémentaires et des mécanismes d'endommagement des géosynthétiques. Quelques essais existants sont présentés, en fonction des sollicitations qu'ils représentent, et sont classés soit comme essais de caractérisation, soit comme essais empiriques. On donne un exemple de dimensionnement de dispositif d'étanchéité, à partir de corrélations entre les essais de caractérisation et les essais empiriques
