Development of a practical diatom index of overall water quality applicable to the French National Water Board Network

Résumé
The purpose of this research was to create a truly practical but not nevertheless simplistic diatomic index capable of significantly improving the link between the index score and the overall water quality, insofar as the auto-ecology of the species permits.
L'objectif de cette recherche est de créer un indice diatomique qui soit pratique, sans pour cela devenir simpliste, et d'améliorer la liaison entre la qualité de l'eau et la notation indicielle.
