Alleviating effects of technical training of mountainous rivers and streams in urban areas

Résumé
In order to protect the areas against the effects of flood and drought, we need to slow down the outflow in the scale of the whole catchment. The stream- and river-training are one of many possibilities of floods and droughts mitigation. However, these activiteies were often done without any respect of the basic principles of keeping the eocological continuity of river corridor. In the paper, we propose improving the activities in the rivers and stream channels, in order to alleviate effects of the technical training.
