Nozzle-product interaction characterization using PDPA measurements
Caractérisation des interactions buse/produit par mesure laser de granulo-vélocimétrie
Résumé
The initial physical characteristics of droplets formed from an agricultural liquid sheet are fundamental (Miller, 2000). Even if small drops are needed for good coverage of target crops, they may drift away from their intended target. Moreover, studying of the agricultural water sprays is not sufficient to predict its behaviour in actual use. Therefore, it seemed appropriate to study the interactions between different types of nozzle and different formulations in order to better understand the phenomena involved.
