Le bilan de santé de la PAC : un effet positif pour les exploitations françaises de montagne

Abstract : The decisions of the French agricultural Minister (February 2009) concerning the national implementation of the CAP Health Check measures should allow a substantial improvement in the income of herbivorous farms located in the mountains. The budget reorientation is unfavorable to crop farms as well as intensive cattle breeders located in the plains. From simulations applied to Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN), this article presents the impact of these decisions. It emphasizes the differential effects between LFA, mountain and plain.
