Les effets de l'implantation de Danone sur la structure du marché algérien des yaourts: Résultats d'une enquête par entretiens auprès des dépositaires de PLF de l'Est algérien.

Abstract : Asymmetric strategic alliances between small enterprises and global group are a specific feature of interorganizational relationships. In 2001, Danone – Djurdjura partnership was concluded in Algeria. This new location of the multinational agri food group led to a new composition of the yoghurt Algerian market. The considerable marketing efforts lead to expanding demand for dairy products. New producers emerge as well as local enterprises improve their competitive positions, others foreign agri food producers make their conversion to this market. Through a survey conducted by interviews with agents and retailers four regions in eastern Algeria, this paper attempts to analyze the new configuration and the weight of Danone Djurdjura Algeria on this market.
