Lapins produits par injection intra-cytoplasmique de spermatozoïdes (ICSI) stockés à température ambiante

Abstract : We propose a new technique of rabbit production, in the rabbit species, based on the direct injection of sperm into mature oocytes This technique, ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection), is already used in human medicine. We show that ICSI with ejaculated sperm preserved at room temperature during 24 hours and with a desynchronized preparation of recipients, results in the birth of viable pups. These preliminary results indicate that the efficiency of ICSI in the rabbit specie expressed in term of number of viable offsprings per transfered embryos is higher than 20%.
