Sécheresse et forêt : les arbres comme détecteurs de sécheresse

Abstract : Forest tree growth as measured from tree ring is mainly limited by soil water deficit. This paper illustrates tree ring variations as response to drought as computed by soil water balance modelling. We suggest that the tree radial growth reduction due to drought could be used as an indicator of drought intensity susceptible to induce construction damages.
