Behaviour of live yeast Biosaf® Sc 47 during digestive transit in dairy cows

Résumé

Objective : Optimizing the potential of live yeast (LY) additions to ruminant feed and their in vivo efficiency requires better knowledge of their behaviour in the digestive tract (DT). The survival of LY in the different compartments of the DT of cows were studied in order to know better the fate of ingested LY after oral administration.
