This document is organised as follows: - description of the organisation (units, collective tools), and the Division's human and financial resources. - explanation of how the head of the Division is organised, its policy on leadership and the management of its resources (chapter 2). - scientific achievements made during the period that has just elapsed, impact of the work carried out by the Division, using a methodology proposed by INRA, and national and international positioning (chapter 3). - a quantitative analysis of production by the Division, based on data regarding publications, the research contracts obtained by the units, the evaluation of the units (chapter 4). - responses to the specific questions posed by central management in the Commission's Mission Statement (chapter 5). The document conclude by assessing the actions of the Division during the four-year period, and offering prospects for future actions by the Division in terms of its scientific priorities.
