Quality pricing international soybean markets : models and real world

Abstract

The first part of this paper is realted to the theorical models used to analyze the price of commodities with respect to quality. The second part is a development of the theorical background of the models when taking into consideration ther particular case of the soybean market where the two major components, oil and meal, are actively traded around the world. Finally, the third part is a description of the research potential for analizing quality pricing on the soybean market and possibilities of improvement of market behavior with the new international environment.
