Role and evolution of a potential Sex Determining gene in Salmonids. – SDS

Abstract : In vertebrates there is a surprising diversity of sex determining systems. Here we show that a gene that was right now only known for its implication in the immune response, is a master sex determining gene conserved in salmonids.
