Retour de la pratique : Témoignage d'un agriculteur ayant participé à un groupe de conception de systèmes de culture à l'aide de modèles.

Abstract : The CoSAC project aimed to propose new agricultural systems that reconciled reduced herbicide use with preservation of crop production, farmers' income and biodiversity in arable crops. In this project, participatory workshops were organized with farmers to design such innovative cropping systems. A symposium was held for scientists, students, crop advisors and farmers at the end of the project in 2019. There, one of the farmers participating in the workshops of the DEPHY farm group from the Eure department testified to his experience in this approach. His testimony focused on the place of croppingsystem design in the "cropping system" approach, the contribution of research studies to this approach, his participation in the design process, the fine tuning of a tool aiming to support cropping-system design.
